Until The End

by

Tracey Ward

Alissa has a problem.  Ever since her mother killed herself, Ali sees and hears things that are not there.  Wish medication this is pretty much under control.  This is good until getting the medication becomes the next problems and this is because zombies have arrived at her college.  Her roommates are trying to eat her and she doesn’t .have a weapon in hand to defend herself.  Enters neighbor Jordon to the rescue.  Jorden bashes the roommate zombie’s head in with a bat that becomes like an old friend before this is done.

Jordon is a normal youth these days with the now, much needed, knowledge of how to survive a zombie apocalypse.  Together Jordon and Ali escape the city and head to Ali’s father by way of the river.  This story is about that journey and the people they meet along the way.  It is about how Alissa and Jordon fall in love. It is about how being in a stressful world of zombies can mess with your head, especially when you already have a mental illness and your medication isn’t to be found.

This is a zombie world at its best with a twist.  I enjoyed this one enough that I bought and read the book and read it as soon as I was done.  Book one is told from Alissa’s perspective.  Great book.  It also shows that even with zombies, they are not always the most savage thing people can encounter.  Story is well worth the read.

In The End

By
Tracey Ward

This story starts where Until The End left off.  The unique thing about this series is that book one was Alissa telling the story and book two has Jordon narrating the tale.  Jordon and Alissa’s father conflict often on how situations should be handled and where they small group should go.  They argue over if they should find more people or keep to themselves.  They disagree on almost everything, but the main problem is that Alissa’s father doesn’t want her to grow up.  He doesn’t think she is well enough to make adult decisions concerning her love life.  He doesn’t want her to have one.

Jordon knows that with the current circumstances that they are all doomed unless things that they have no control over change drastically.  Jordon is willing to go against his believe and sacrifice everything to watch over Alissa and keep her safe.

I love the way this book has its twist and turns.  I love the way Jordon is willing to do whatever it that’s for Alissa.  This is a wonderful second book to this series.  Tracey Ward is an excellent story teller.  Even though this is the final tale of Alissa and Jordon, I look forward to reading more by Ms. Ward.

COVER REVEAL Ink Slapped by AM Jones

COVER REVEALED

Ink Slapped

by AM Jones

What is this book about, you asked?
The heart wants what the heart wants—a concept that free-spirited author T.M. Dabney, never understood until she laid eyes on her new cover model, Eli.

Eli Gregor, a struggling musician and mechanic, thinks he knows the true meaning of heartbreak—that is until he accepts a business venture with the alluring Taylor Dabney. With her help, he pieces his life back together when his dreams dangle within reach and once again everything falls apart. And his success comes with a price he doesn’t want to pay.

Caught between better judgment and desire, they find themselves at a crossroads—should they make the best decision for their careers or give in to their undeniable connection?

A torrid tale that weaves humor, drama, and sexual tension, Ink Slapped will leave you reeling and wanting more.

My keyboard should be smoking with how fast I pound the keys. Death metal music blares throughout my apartment about killing things and cannibalism. It helps inspire as demons die gruesomely by Zara’s merciless bloodbaths. Loud knocking rudely interrupts my zone. “Son of a bitch! I’m fucking moving!” I snarl at the closed door.

Jerking the door open, a mail carrier stands there with an envelope looking fearful as his eyes dart around for a shotgun. It’s FedEx.

“Don’t you know that I’m in the middle of a war of epic proportions with Hell?”

The tiny guy swallows and holds up the envelope, “Sounds like it.”

Book Description:

Time is not on everyone’s side…

Mortal mess-up Lucy Markson makes one tiny miscalculation and her soul ends up belonging to an evil demon. Forced to serve the newly fallen angels recruited by her master, she must take one of the fallen through the seven deadly sins.

Fallen angel Sawyer Succendo didn’t jump from heaven. He was pushed. And now he’s lost everything, including his halo – which contains his earthbound soul.

In a race with an evil demon to claim his lost halo, Sawyer must trust a woman designed for sin – literally. Learning the true power of free will, Sawyer just might save them both, if he can keep his mind on the plan and his hands to himself.

But if he can’t find his halo and save the girl, then he’ll be grounded forever.
 Excerpt:
One thing was certain. Fallen angels were hot. And not the ninety-eight-point-six kind of warmth, either. Oh, no. These Fallen fit every corny pick up line she’d ever heard. Because they were exactly what they claimed to be. Created by the hands of God and in His own image.
How would she ever choose one to feed and then… They were all beautifully gorgeous. She tilted her head to the side.
Except for him.
Dried blood marred the side of his temple and stained his sharp cheekbones. A gash sliced across his left eyebrow ending at the corner of his blackened eye. His swollen lower lip also sported a crack with still-fresh blood threatening to trickle down to the divot in his chin. Naked as the day he was born – or created – his torso and thighs held an interesting pattern of scars that haphazardly healed.
He rubbed his chest with one hand, his golden eyes widening in alarm, and in that moment, Lucy knew she absolutely had to be the one to serve him. His entire demeanor differed from the others. He hesitated to join the others at the banquet table, almost like he didn’t want to partake in the feast, even though she knew he had to be starving by now. Still, he reminded her of… her. A reluctant guest.

***

An unfamiliar weight settled over Sawyer, and he recognized that for the first time in two thousand years he knew sin. How had Azas done that to him? Slapped Original Sin over his shoulders like a thousand pound straight jacket, trapping him to the mortal realm. Born into the angelic dimension of the divine, he’d heard about sin, but he’d never actually experienced it. Now, healed as one of the Fallen on earth, he knew nakedness, and hunger pains gripped his stomach so completely that he didn’t hesitate to join the others at the manifested banquet table.
Woodenly scraping a chair back from the table, he collapsed against the cushioned fabric as it scratched the back of his thighs and bare ass. While the Fallen indulged in the delicacies from every region of the earth, a parade of nude women served and danced around them. Sawyer’s body tightened in response to the naked flesh, and he groaned at his own lack of control. He shut his eyes to the visual feast. He might be a Fallen angel now, but that didn’t mean he had to indulge in whatever the demon offered. Especially if he hoped to have words with his Maker and return to the right side of the Pearly Gates.About the Author:
